The team’s proactive efforts resulted in 173 presentations, virtual client sales calls and in-person meetings throughout the month of September. Highlights include:

Freeman Golf Classic (Sept. 9, Dulles, VA)

Destination DC, in partnership with Events DC, proudly sponsored the crowd-favorite grill and margarita station at the 15th annual Freeman Golf Classic in support of the American Heart Association. As customers and industry partners made their way through the course, we had the opportunity to greet and connect with each other during their lunch stop.

Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) Philadelphia Education Day & Trade Show (Sept. 10, Philadelphia, PA)

DDC had a tradeshow bag sponsorship and table exhibition at the Philadelphia chapter of PCMA. The event offered a full day of education and networking, where DDC staff connected with both current partners and prospective clients. Visitors stopped by our table to learn more about DDC and many also engaged with us during the educational sessions.

Hospitality Industry Crab Feast (Sept. 24, Washington, DC)

DDC enjoyed a full day of connecting with clients and colleagues, starting on the fairways by sponsoring a hole at the annual Hospitality Industry Golf Outing at Westfields Golf Club. The conversations continued into the evening at the always-anticipated Crab Feast at Quarterdeck, where guests enjoyed Chesapeake blue crab, local flavors and plenty of lively networking.
