Come watch the World Championship Boxing match between DC native Lamont “The Reaper” Roach Jr and Feargal “Fearless” McCrory from North Ireland at the Entertainment & Sports Arena June 28.

World Championship Boxing returns to the Nation’s Capital on Friday, June 28, 2024, as World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Featherweight Champion Lamont “The Reaper” Roach Jr. (24-1-1, 9 KOs) of Washington, DC defends his title in the Main Event against #12 WBA ranked Feargal “Fearless” McCrory (16-0, 8 KOs) of Coalisland, N. Ireland at the Entertainment & Sports Arena (ESA) in Roach’s hometown Washington, DC. Doors open at 5:00 pm with the first bell scheduled for 6:00 pm. Tickets range from $75 to $500 (plus taxes and fees).


The action-packed ProBoxTV card presented by NoXcuse Promotions will feature a mix of world-class pros and outstanding prospects, including a co-Main Event with undefeated Lester Martinez (17-0, 15 KOs) of Guatemala City, Guatemala taking on EcuadoranCarlos Gongora (22-2, 17 Kos) of Boston, MA in a 10-round super welterweight tilt.


Rianna Rios (7-0, 1 KO) of Upper Marlboro, MD, a former, two-time Elite National, National PAL, Golden Gloves Champion and US Army Sergeant, is fighting for the WBA International Bantamweight Championship against Mary Romero (10-5, 2 KOs) of Murcia, Spain, while jr. lightweight Greg “Sharpshooter” Outlaw (14-2, 8 KOs) of Bowie, MD is set for a six-round contest (opponent TBD). Lightweights Eric “El Torito” Hernandez (10-1, 5 KOs) of Ashburn, VA and undefeated Deric “Scooter” Davis (3-0, 3 KOs) of Washington, DC, will also be showcased in four-round contests (opponents TBD). In an international 10-round lightweight clash, Alex Dilmaghani (20-2-1, 7 KOs) of Manch, Lancashire, UK will square off against Rene Tellez Giron (19-3, 12 KOs) of Queretaro, Mexico.


A pair of the best American amateur boxers are set to make their professional debut on the card. Both fighting out of DC, flyweight Jordan Roach, Lamont’s 20-year-old brother and a 7-time amateur national champion, and his teammate, welterweight Benjamin Johnson, a 12-time national, are scheduled for 4-round bouts (opponents TBD).
