Transform the gray days of winter into a season of bloom.
Jan 31, 2026. 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
While the garden sleeps outside, your home can be filled with the fragrance of hyacinths and the bright cheer of daffodils. Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the "magic" of bulb forcing -the process of tricking spring-flowering bulbs into blooming early indoors. All tools and equipment, including vessel will be provided. Each participant will create and take home a display including a variety of flowering bulbs.
What You’ll Learn
- The Science of Chilling: Understand why certain bulbs need a "winter nap" and how to provide it.
- Variety Selection: Which bulbs work best for forcing (Paperwhites, Amaryllis, Muscari, and more).
- Planting Techniques: How to plant in soil versus "hydroponic" forcing in water and pebbles.
Two sessions available - 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Class size is limited so sign up now to save your spot!
