What to expect: Step into a fresh start and come to an uplifting night of music, creativity, and community care. Move to the smooth, feel-good beats of Les the DJ, and spark your creativity with a vision board collage activity, where you can cut, layer, and design intentions for the year ahead. Join a guided spotlight tour of Ruth Orkin: Women on the Move and learn more about the 20th century photographer who helped capture the evolution of women working in postwar America. Throughout the evening, participate in job field meetups led by NMWA staff, offering an informal space to connect with others in similar industries, share experiences, and build professional community. Whether you’re exploring a new path or strengthening your network, these guided conversations are meant to foster professional connection surrounded by inspiring artworks.
More about the donation drive: In an effort to start the year fresh and uplift those in our community, we’re hosting a donation drive in partnership with Suited for Change, a nonprofit providing professional attire and career support to women entering the workforce. - Accessories: Shoes, handbags, jewelry, and scarves suitable for a professional setting
- Toiletries: New, unopened items such as deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and feminine hygiene products
- Please ensure that all clothing items are clean, in good condition, and ready to wear.
