Politics & Art: District Vox

June 13, 2019
Starting: 05:30 PM

Now in its fifth year, Politics & Art: District Vox is an annual “Made in D.C.” performing arts showcase presented by Washington Performing Arts’ Mars Urban Arts Initiative (MUAI) and Council-member David Grosso. Join us at The Wilson Building on June 13 for a celebration of D.C.’s vibrant arts community with performances by singers, vocal ensembles, bands, spoken word artists, and actors. Artists and ensembles are invited to apply free of charge, and will be selected by a panel of arts and community leaders. This year’s event features D.C.-based Latinx artists who will share stories and poetry about their lives in our community.

Co-presented with Councilmember David Grosso.
