National Archives to Permanently Showcase 19th Amendment and Emancipation Proclamation

Daily, Mar 01, 2026 - Feb 04, 2027. 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

New encasements will be added to the Rotunda of the National Archives Building to permanently house the 19th Amendment (which removed restrictions on women's voting) and the Emancipation Proclamation alongside the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
