Christie Dashiell

Known for her improvisational skills and rich tone, vocalist and composer Christie Dashiell effortlessly combines the genres of jazz, R&B, gospel, and soul. She has collaborated with esteemed artists such as Sweet Honey in the Rock and performed on notable stages worldwide. In 2016, Dashiell’s first solo album, Time All Mine, debuted on Billboard's Jazz Album and Contemporary Jazz Album charts at No. 13 and No. 22 respectively. A Strathmore Artist in Residence alum, Dashiell currently serves on the faculty of Temple University, Howard University, and The University of the District of Columbia.
