Civil War Days | Symposium, Exhibits, Living History
The National Army Museum Civil War Days begin with a panel discussion Thursday evening featuring professionals from Lincoln historic sites. Friday offers an all-day symposium with acclaimed historians and educators who explore how Lincoln exercised his role as commander in chief and transformed the presidency during the Civil War. On Saturday, bring your friends and family to participate in hands-on education and living history activities with representatives from local historic sites.
The Museums Preserving the Nation Gallery provides visitors an opportunity to explore the Civil War through artifacts, Soldier stories, and a theater experience.
These activities are free and open to all visitors some programs require advance registration and are offered both in-person and virtually.
