PART III. BENEVOLENCE
The Trilogys rousing conclusion irises in on the more intimate impact of Emmetts abduction and murder on two couples in Money, Mississippi: Caroline Bryant, her husband Roy, and twin brother Rayleaping forward 50 years to the partial recantation of Carolines testimonyalong with Clinton and Beulah Melton, witnesses to the murder, whose lives are put in danger because of the information they possess. With scenes of Medgar Evers filing field reports to the NAACP.
Bayeza captures the powerful truths at the heart of the story, creating a soaring work of music, brilliant poetry and theatricality.
