Cultural Capital: Motherhood Redux

March 11, 2020
From: 07:00 PM to 09:00 PM

Celebrate motherhood through poetry.

Since 1968, the O.B. Hardison Poetry series at the Folger Shakespeare Library has brought some of the best writers and speakers to Washington, D.C. From traditional poetry readings to multimedia presentations to eclectic combinations of lecture, conversation, and performance, the series is committed to expanding the contexts in which poetry is experienced. Join us to hear Camille DungyTina Chang, and Beth Ann Fennelly read their work about motherhood.

Event will be followed by a wine reception and book signing, offering further opportunities for audience members to engage with the authors, their works, and D.C.'s community of poetry lovers.
