Capital One Arena will host the Montréal Victoire vs. New York Sirens as part of the expanded 2025–26 PWHL Takeover Tour on Sunday, Jan. 18, at 2 p.m. Presented by BJ’s Wholesale Club, the matchup marks the first-ever PWHL game held in the District and is part of a broader weekend celebration in partnership with the Washington Capitals to spotlight and grow women’s hockey. The weekend includes open practices and girls’ youth hockey clinics at MedStar Capitals Iceplex on Saturday, Jan. 17, featuring skill development sessions led by the Capitals’ ALL CAPS ALL HER (ACAH) program, special appearances by PWHL players and family-friendly fan activities. Additional highlights include a ceremonial puck drop during the Capitals vs. Florida Panthers game on Saturday night and community activations celebrating Monumental Sports & Entertainment’s ongoing commitment to expanding access, opportunity and visibility for women and girls in hockey.
