National Gallery of Art Celebrates 250 Years of America with Special Exhibitions

The National Gallery of Art commemorates 250 years of America with wide-ranging programming that will encompass 15 special installations and exhibitions in total. Special focus will be paid to ideas at the heart of American stories: concepts of freedom, nationhood, identity and icons, each vividly told through art.
