Two weekends, one festival celebrating DC music and culture

The Home Rule Music Festival is a star-studded celebration of DC's rich music and culture. Now in its second year, the fest has expanded from one day to three!
- The music kicks off on Friday, June 16, with a launch show at Songbyrd DC featuring Kassa Overall.
- On Saturday, June 17, we return to the Parks at Walter Reed for our annual FREE afternoon of music, food trucks, outdoor record fair and other family fun in the sun.
- Performers will include EU, Brian Jackson, Doug Carn, the Experience Band & Show, Kahil El'Zabar's Ethnic Heritage Ensemble, Mark G. Meadows and more.
- Things continue the following Saturday, June 24, with a special concert at Black Cat DC, featuring top-notch jazz artists Hear In Now, Hamid Drake and others.
