Join the DC Jazz Festival for our

Jazz Mix and Mingle Holiday Party 

Purpose:  A holiday party to celebrate DC Jazz Festival's education mission of introducing young people, their families and teachers to jazz with free year-round programs, especially serving students in underserve communities. All proceeds benefit DCJF’s music education program. dcjazzfest.org 

Performer: Award-winning saxophonist and rising star, Brent Birckhead, plays a mix of traditional and popular styles. Birckhead was named best blues/pop/rock soloist and outstanding jazz soloist by DownBeat Magazine as part of the annual student music awards. The Lauryn Hill touring band alum will perform music from his debut release, BIRCKHEAD.

Parking: (Valet parking is now available. There is a secure parking garage about one block away from the venue located at 1508 Okie St NE, in the same building as MOM's Organic Market. The secure parking garage is free for the first 90 minutes, and the maximum charge is $8.00/day.) 

Program Flow:

6:00 pm            Door Open  (VIP ticket include complimentary food and wine)

7:30-8:15 pm    Performance (Brent Birckhead)

8:15-9:00 pm    Get your Dance On with DJ Ease

9:00-9:45 pm    Performance (Brent Birckhead)

Attire:             Cocktail or Business. Festive attire welcomed.

Raffle:  We are raffling four pairs of VIP tickets to 2020 DC JazzFest at The Anthem and four tickets to the 2020 DC JazzFest VIP Club at District Pier.Be sure to buy raffles tickets for your family and friends. The raffle will remain open until 9:45 PM. Winners announced at 9:45PM. You do not need to be present to win.
