Nat Geo Nights: Fulbright: Stories From the World

July 18, 2019
From: 05:30 PM to 08:30 PM

Every month National Geographic opens its doors for a night of fun and exploration. These special monthly happy hours feature live stories from National Geographic Explorers, fun interactive activities, lively music, food, and drink specials at our cash bar. The happy hour begins at 5:30 p.m. and the talk begins at 6:30 p.m.

Hear from some of the inspiring new voices at National Geographic: the 2018-19 Fulbright-National Geographic Digital Storytelling Fellows just back from nine months spent in the field. Learn about microalgae in Panama with Jennifer Gil, wildlife resource hot spots in Mozambique’s Gorongosa National Park with Jen Guyton, cemeteries in the United Kingdom and Singapore with Katie Thornton, Ireland’s peat bogs with Emily Toner, and the role of civic technology in Romania with William Tyner.
