The gardens of the late Post Cereal heiress Marjorie Merriwether Post are among the most beautiful gardens in the Washington area.
Adjoining the very elegant and popular Hillwood Museum in upper northwest Washington, the gardens offer incredible opportunities for photography - the paths, the mansion, the greenhouse, the statuary, and the refurbished Japanese Gardens.
Non-flash photography is allowed inside the Hillwood Museum, with its extraordinary collection of Faberge eggs and other Russian artifacts and Mr. Luria will provide instruction on low-light shooting without a tripod inside a museum. The museum admission fee is included.
