Ian Lara

Ian Lara is a superbly talented Dominican-American stand-up comedian from Queens and one of the hottest rising comics in NYC. His sets touch on themes of growing up with immigrant parents, being unsure about his race and his born-again Christian father. Ian was also just named one of Variety’s 2023 10 Comics to Watch. His Comedy Central half-hour special "Growing Shame" debuted on YouTube in February 2022, followed by his HBO Special "Ian Lara: Romantic Comedy," which was released in November 2022 and is currently streaming on Max.
