Take a guided walk through the cemetery to learn the design behind and stories contained within this hallowed ground
Arlington National Cemetery is the final resting place of over 400,000 American heroes. As one of the largest military cemeteries in the world, Arlington preserves and enshrines the history of the United States' past.
Join DC Design Tours for a special biannual cemetery walking tour to honor our fallen heroes this Independence Day weekend. The tour will take place from 9:00-11:30 am on Sunday, July 6.
Visit fascinating sites within the cemetery, including the Kennedy Gravesites, the tomb of Robert Todd Lincoln, and witness the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Experience a guided walk through the cemetery to learn the design behind and the stories contained within this hallowed ground.
The tour will include special sights and stops, such as the Kennedy grave sites, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the Changing of the Guard Ceremony. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see the USS Maine Mast Memorial, the Space Shuttle Memorials, and Arlington Mansion. Additionally, the Pentagon can be viewed from a distance, along with notable monuments like the President William Howard Taft Monument and the Tomb of Robert Todd Lincoln.
Our tour meets and concludes outside the Arlington National Cemetery Visitors Center at 1 Memorial Ave, Fort Myer, VA 22211, covering about two miles in about two and a half hours.
