MCHF Summer Concert Series
Join us on August 7, 2025, at 7 p.m. as the "The President's Own" U.S. Marine Band perform at the National Museum of the Marine Corps! This free outdoor summer concerts featuring the Marine Big Band taking listeners back to yesteryear with the swinging tunes and smooth tones of a bygone era.
The Marine Band performs a varied repertoire, traditional concert band literature, challenging orchestral transcriptions, and the patriotic marches that made it famous. The band frequently features its members in solo performances that highlight their virtuosity and artistry. The U.S. Marine Band is the only musical unit that bears the title “The President’s Own” and whose mission is to provide music for the President of the United States and the Commandant of the Marine Corps.
The free Summer Concerts are held outdoors on the National Museum of the Marine Corps' entry plaza, weather permitting. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets. Please enjoy extended hours before the concert begins. The Museum, Rifle Range, Tun Tavern and Museum Store will be open until 6:45 p.m. Enjoy our trigger happy hour in the Laser Simulated Rifle Range for $2.50. Outdoor concessions will be available. *No alcoholic beverages will be permitted on the Museum grounds.
